Roaming Service

The following terms and conditions (“Roaming Service Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to Our Postpaid Roaming Service (each hereinafter referred to as a “Roaming Service”). Your access and continued use of Our Roaming Service shall constitute Your acknowledgment and acceptance of these Roaming Service Terms and Conditions.

These Roaming Service Terms and Conditions supplement the Postpaid Service Terms & Conditions available at www.yes.my.

  1. Roaming Service is available in a list of countries outside Malaysia as stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming.
  2. We reserve the right at Our sole discretion to determine whether You are eligible for and/or will be offered the Roaming Service.
  3. You shall be responsible to pay for all charges accumulated while roaming which will be debited from Your Yes account, including all relevant charges based on Our roaming rates stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming, the roaming country’s rates, pay-as-you-use rates and/or any other charges imposed by Us from time to time. You shall also be responsible to bear and pay all surcharges, SST, value-added taxes, and any other charges, taxes, exchange rate difference (if any) or such other sum as may be stipulated by Us from time to time, incurred in using the Roaming Service.
  4. A deposit may be required for the Roaming Service.
  5. We and the operator of the visited foreign telecommunication services network shall not be liable for any loss or damage which You may sustain from or through the suspension/termination/interruption/loss of or inability to use the Roaming Service due to any cause whatsoever.
  6. You shall be subject to all of these Roaming Service Terms and Conditions and such other terms and conditions as We deem fit as imposed from time to time, including in respect of additional charges when using the Roaming Service.
  7. For data services, Your Commitment Fee only covers domestic data usage and does not include data usage overseas, unless stated otherwise by Us.
  8. We make no warranty or representation that Your mobile device will be able to utilise the Roaming Service. Any inability to utilise Roaming Service shall not annul these Roaming Service Terms and Conditions or absolve, diminish or affect Your liability to observe and perform Your obligations herein.
  9. We reserve the right, without being liable to You whatsoever, not to provide or continue to provide, or to discontinue providing the Roaming Service at any time and without assigning any reason thereof.
  10. You shall promptly report to Us and in any case within 24 hours, any lost or stolen Yes SIM. Until such report has been received by Us, You shall be liable for all charges incurred under Your Yes account.
  11. You hereby affirmatively consent to and authorise Us to collect, use and/or disclose Your personal data in accordance with Our Privacy Policy available at yes.my/general-terms-and-conditions.

YesRoam Daily Pass

  1. This YesRoam Daily pass is subject to the terms and conditions hereinunder (“YesRoam Daily Pass Terms and Conditions”), Our Roaming Service Terms and Conditions as set out above, and any other terms and conditions as may be stipulated by Us from time to time.
  2. This YesRoam Daily pass is available for subscription by all Yes Subscribers to enjoy roaming service in the list of countries as provided on Our website at yes.my/roaming. This YesRoam Daily pass will be auto-subscribed when Yes Subscriber enabled the roaming service via MyYes App. Roaming rates will apply based on the designated countries as stated on Our website at www.yes.my/roaming.
  3. This YesRoam Daily pass is applicable only to Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries as listed at yes.my/roaming. We reserve the right to revise and/or amend the list of Our preferred roaming operators without prior notice. The use of YesRoam Daily pass in such designated countries is subject to availability of Our preferred roaming operator’s network. We will not be liable to You or any other party for any network unavailability, interruption, quality or other network-related problems that are beyond Our control.
  4. You need to log onto Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries through MyYes App in order to enjoy the YesRoam Daily pass without incurring additional charges. Should You roam with any roaming operators other than Our preferred roaming operators, Our standard pay-as-you-use charges as stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming will apply.
  5. The capped data charges for the YesRoam Daily pass are only applicable on a per country basis and for Our designated preferred roaming operators.
  6. The capped data charges for the YesRoam Daily pass are applicable on a daily basis and will be reset automatically each day at local time 23:59:59 in the capital city of the country where the YesRoam Daily pass has been subscribed and activated. The YesRoam Daily pass will be automatically renewed upon expiry and a new data roaming daily charge will apply until You switch off Your data roaming and mobile data on Your mobile device.
  7. This YesRoam Daily pass comes with allocated high speed roaming data quota according to the specific country. If the high speed roaming data quota for YesRoam pass has been fully utlised, the data speed will be throttled to 64kbps until the YesRoam Daily pass expires, save for YesRoam SG Daily pass, where the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps once the high speed roaming data quota for YesRoam SG Daily pass has been fully utilised until the YesRoam SG Daily pass expires. Any unused data quota on YesRoam Daily passes cannot be rolled over to the next day.
  8. This YesRoam Daily pass is intended for personal and non-commercial use only, and is subject to the relevant roaming operator’s fair usage policy and Our Fair Usage Policy set out at yes.my/general-terms-and-conditions. If We, in Our sole discretion, determine that Your data usage is in excess of the fair usage, We may, without any notification and liability to You, suspend, restrict and/or terminate Your access to the Roaming Service.
  9. The Credit Limit of Your Service Plan (if applicable) shall apply to Your Roaming Service charges. You are required to monitor Your own talk time, SMS and data usage while You are abroad. You shall be solely responsible for all Roaming Service charges incurred under Your account.
  10. The Roaming Service charges will be reflected in Your monthly Bill in the succeeding month following the Billing Cycle and deduct from Your account’s credit limit of Your use (if applicable) of the Roaming Service. If You have reached Your credit limit, You may increase Your credit limit via MyYes app to enjoy more roaming services.
  11. We may amend these YesRoam Daily Pass Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice of the same to You. Access, usage or continued usage of the YesRoam Daily pass shall constitute Your acceptance of these YesRoam Daily Pass Terms and Conditions.

YesRoam SG Monthly Pass

  1. This YesRoam SG Monthly pass is subject to the terms and conditions hereinunder (“YesRoam SG Monthly Pass Terms and Conditions”), Our Roaming Service Terms and Conditions as set out above, and any other terms and conditions as may be stipulated by Us from time to time.
  2. This YesRoam SG Monthy pass is available automatically to all Yes Infinite+ Postpaid Service Plans Programme and Yes Infinite Postpaid Service Plans Programme’s subscribers as a complimentary roaming data for them to enjoy roaming service in Singapore.
  3. This YesRoam SG Monthly pass is applicable only to Our preferred roaming operators in Singapore as listed at yes.my/roaming. We reserve the right to revise and/or amend the list of Our preferred roaming operators without prior notice. The use of YesRoam SG Monthly pass in Singapore is subject to availability of Our preferred roaming operator’s network. We will not be liable to You or any other party for any network unavailability, interruption, quality or other network-related problems that are beyond Our control.
  4. You need to log onto Our preferred roaming operators in the Singapore through MyYes App in order to enjoy the YesRoam SG Monthly pass without incurring additional charges. Should You roam with any roaming operators other than Our preferred operators, Our standard pay-as-you-use charges as stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming will apply.
  5. This YesRoam SG Monthly pass comes with a complimentary roaming data quota of 10GB monthly following the Billing Cycle of Your Service Plan. Once the 10GB high speed roaming data quota has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps for the remainder of that particular Billing Cycle. Any unused roaming data quota cannot be rolled over to the next Billing Cycle and the roaming data quota will be reset automatically on the last day of the Billing Cycle.
  6. You can enjoy free, unlimited calls from Singapore to any Malaysian number. This includes free incoming calls from all countries and free outgoing calls to any Malaysian number while in the roaming country. Calls to toll-free numbers are not free. For SMS, charges are applicable for all roaming operators other than Our preferred operators. For more information on offers and rates, please refer to Our website at yes.my/roaming.
  7. This YesRoam SG Monthly pass is intended for personal and non-commercial use only and is subject to the relevant roaming operator’s fair usage policy and Our Fair Usage Policy set out at yes.my/general-terms-and-conditions. If We, in Our sole discretion, determine that Your data usage is in excess of the fair usage, We may, without any notification and liability to You, suspend, restrict and/or terminate Your access to the Roaming Service.
  8. We may amend these YesRoam SG Monthly Pass Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice of the same to You. Access, usage or continued usage of the YesRoam SG Monthly pass shall constitute Your acceptance of these YesRoam SG Monthly pass Terms and Conditions.

YesRoam ASEAN Plus Pass

  1. This YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass is subject to the terms and conditions hereinunder (“YesRoam ASEAN Plus Pass Terms and Conditions”), Our Roaming Service Terms and Conditions as set out above, and any other terms and conditions as may be stipulated by Us from time to time.
  2. This YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass is available for subscription by all Yes Postpaid Subscribers to enjoy roaming service in the list of countries as provided on Our website at yes.my/roaming. This YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass can be subscribed to when Yes Subscriber enabled the roaming service via MyYes App. Roaming rates will apply based on the designated countries as stated on Our website at www.yes.my/roaming.
  3. This YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass is applicable only to Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries as listed at yes.my/roaming. We reserve the right to revise and/or amend the list of Our preferred roaming operators without prior notice. The use of YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass in such designated countries is subject to availability of Our preferred roaming operator’s network. We will not be liable to You or any other party for any network unavailability, interruption, quality or other network-related problems that are beyond Our control.
  4. You need to log onto Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries through MyYes App in order to enjoy the YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass without incurring additional charges. Should You roam with any roaming operators other than Our preferred roaming operators, Our standard pay-as-you-use charges as stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming may apply.
  5. YesRoam ASEAN Plus passes are available in one (1) day, three (3) days, and seven (7) days options through YesRoam ASEAN Plus Daily, YesRoam ASEAN Plus 1 Day, YesRoam ASEAN Plus 3 Days and YesRoam ASEAN Plus 7 Days. The details of each of these passes are further stated in Clauses 6 & 7 below.
  6. YesRoam ASEAN Plus Daily pass comes with a roaming data quota of 1GB daily. Once the 1GB high speed roaming data quota has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps for the remainder of the day.. The YesRoam ASEAN Plus Daily will be automatically renewed daily upon expiry and a new data roaming daily charge will apply until You switch off Your data roaming and mobile data on Your mobile device.
  7. YesRoam ASEAN Plus 1 Day, YesRoam ASEAN Plus 3 Days and YesRoam ASEAN Plus 7 Days passes can be subscribed to and pre-booked 30 days before the intended activation date through MyYes App. Upon pre-booking, the roaming pass is pre-empted for activation, which will then be activated automatically on Your scheduled intended activation date and time. The pre-booking can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the intended activation date. The subscription charges will be charged to You in Your next billing cycle.
    i. YesRoam ASEAN Plus 1 Day pass comes with a roaming data quota of 1GB. Once the 1GB high speed roaming data quota has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps for the remainder of the period.
    ii. YesRoam ASEAN Plus 3 Days pass comes with a roaming data quota of 5GB and valid for 3 days. Once the 5GB high speed roaming data quota has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps for the remainder of the period.
    iii. YesRoam ASEAN Plus 7 Days pass comes with a roaming data quota of 10GB and valid for 7 days. Once the 10GB high speed roaming data quota has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps for the remainder of the period.
  8. For easy reference, the subscription time, activation time, and validity of each YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass refers to Malaysia time (MYT), GMT+8 as the reference time. Once the high speed roaming data quota for Your YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps until the YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass expires. Any unused data quota on the YesRoam ASEAN Plus passes cannot be rolled over to the next day. To continue enjoying roaming data / high speed roaming data in case You have fully utilised the high speed roaming data prior to the expiry of Your YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass, you may purchase additional YesRoam ASEAN Plus passes via MyYes App.
  9. This YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass is intended for personal and non-commercial use only and is subject to the relevant roaming operator’s fair usage policy and Our Fair Usage Policy set out at yes.my/general-terms-and-conditions. If We, in Our sole discretion, determine that Your data usage is in excess of the fair usage, We may, without any notification and liability to You, suspend, restrict and/or terminate Your access to the Roaming Service.
  10. The Credit Limit of Your Service Plan (if applicable) shall apply to Your Roaming Service charges. You are required to monitor Your own talk time, SMS and data usage while You are abroad. You shall be solely responsible for all Roaming Service charges incurred under Your account.
  11. The Roaming Service charges will be reflected in Your monthly Bill in the succeeding month following the Billing Cycle and deduct from Your account’s credit limit of Your use (if applicable) of the Roaming Service. If You have reached Your credit limit, You may increase Your credit limit via MyYes app to enjoy more roaming services.
  12. We may amend these YesRoam ASEAN Plus Pass Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice of the same to You. Access, usage or continued usage of the YesRoam ASEAN Plus pass shall constitute Your acceptance of these YesRoam ASEAN Plus Pass Terms and Conditions.

YesRoam Top-Up Pass

  1. If You have fully utilised Your high speed roaming data quota of Your YesRoam Daily pass or YesRoam SG Monthly pass, You have the option to purchase the YesRoam Top-Up pass to continue using high speed data. Alternatively, You can continue to roam with unlimited data at a throttled speed until Your YesRoam Daily pass or YesRoam SG Monthly pass (as the case may be) expires
  2. The YesRoam Top-Up passes can be purchased via MyYes app if You are on any of the active YesRoam passes.
  3. The available YesRoam Top-Up passes are as below;
    – YesRoam Top-Up 100MB
    – YesRoam Top-Up 150MB
    – YesRoam Top-Up 200MB
    – YesRoam Top-Up 300MB
    – YesRoam Top-Up 400MB
    – YesRoam Top-Up 500MB
    – YesRoam SG Daily Top-Up 1GB (available for roaming in Singapore only)
    (YesRoam Top-Up passes (i) to (vi) are available for YesRoam Daily pass only; and YesRoam Top-Up pass (vii) is available for YesRoam SG Monthly pass only. For rates of the YesRoam Top-Up passes please refer to Our Website at www.yes.my/roaming).

  4. The YesRoam Top-Up passes are applicable only to Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries as listed at yes.my/roaming. The use of YesRoam Top-Up pass in such designated countries is subject to availability of Our preferred roaming operator’s network. We will not be liable to You or any other party for any network unavailability, interruption, quality or other network-related problems that are beyond Our control.
  5. You need to log onto Our preferred roaming operators in the designated countries in order to enjoy the YesRoam Top-Up pass without incurring additional charges. Should You roam with any roaming operators other than Our preferred operators, Our standard pay-as-you-use charges as stated on Our website at yes.my/roaming may apply.
  6. Each YesRoam Top-Up is valid from local time 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 in the capital city of the country where the YesRoam Top-Up pass is subscribed and activated. Once the high speed roaming data quota for Your YesRoam Top-Up pass has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 64kbps until Your YesRoam pass expires.
  7. For YesRoam SG Daily Top-Up 1GB in Singapore, once the high speed roaming data quota for YesRoam Top-up has been fully utilised, the data speed will be throttled to 512kbps until the YesRoam SG Daily Top-Up pass expires.

  9. We may amend these terms and conditions (“YesRoam Top-Up Pass Terms and Conditions”) from time to time without notice of the same to You. Access, usage or continued usage of the YesRoam Top-Up pass shall constitute Your acceptance of these YesRoam Top-Up Pass Terms and Conditions.
