- The Programme.
The Pakej RAHMAH Prabayar Siswa Yes (“Programme”) is a time-limited programme launched by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (Company No. 200701035605 (793634-V)) (“YTLC”) in collaboration with the Government of Malaysia. - Eligibility.
This Programme is open to all Malaysians below the age of 24 with a valid MyKad (or MyPR or MyTentera, as applicable) and who:-
(i) possess a student identification card issued by the respective education institution (“Student ID”); or
(ii) is a student with a valid official university email address issued by the respective education institution (“Student Official Email Address”), (collectively, “Eligible Subscribers”). - Applicable Terms & Conditions.
Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Programme T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Data Add-On Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Hotspot Add-On Terms and Conditions, Yes Reload Terms And Conditions and Yes First To 5G Campaign Terms and Conditions (available at yes.my/tnc) shall remain and be applicable to the Programme (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Programme T&Cs, these Programme T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Capitalised words not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions. - Programme Period.
The Programme will commence on 16th August 2024 and will continue until further notice (“Programme Period”). - The Programme Description
5.1 The Programme package consists of:-
(a) One (1) Yes Prepaid SIM Card with Yes Mobile Number; and

5.2.1 A special Add-On may be purchased under the Programme as provided below:

(from the date of purchase of Add-On)5.3 In the event that the Eligible Subscribers have fully utilised (a) Internet Data before the expiry of the Account Validity Period and (b) any Data Add-Ons purchased during the Account Validity Period, the Eligible Subscribers may enjoy Free Basic Internet during the remaining days of the Account Validity Period.
5.4 Upon expiry of the Account Validity Period, any internet data in the 60GB Internet Data which remains unutilised shall be forfeited automatically.
5.5 After the Service Validity Period, an Eligible Subscriber may purchase the Prepaid Plan Data Add-On or Hotspot Add-On (as the case may be) via MyYes app to continue enjoy the Service.
5.6 SIM Card Activation. An Eligible Subscriber who has subscribed to the Programme via online (Yes Online Stores or MyYes App) is required to activate the prepaid SIM Card through the MyYes app. This one-time activation of the SIM Card shall be done within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of subscription of such a SIM Card, failing which the SIM Card can no longer be activated and no replacement of the SIM Card will be provided by Us.
5.7 The unlimited On-Net Services are exclusive to the Eligible Subscriber’s use in Malaysia only and applicable for communications between person-to-person personal use, and not for commercial use. Therefore, non-personal use including without limitation conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuous call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication (including by using the Yes SIM in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs) are considered non-standard usage and is therefore prohibited.
- Programme Package application by Eligible Subscriber
6.1 Subject to Clause 6.2 herein, an Eligible Subscriber may register for the Programme Package via Yes Online Store (www.yes.my), MyYes application, Yes Store and Yes Authorised Dealers (“Registration”).6.2 Upon registration, YTLC will verify if an Eligible Subscriber meets the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 2 herein.6.3 An Eligible Subscriber is entitled to register one (1) Programme Service Plan provided that the Eligible Subscriber does not have, in aggregate, more than five (5) prepaid Service accounts with Yes. - Charges
7.1 There will be no charges imposed on an Eligible Subscriber’s use of domestic On-Net Service of voice calls and SMS. However, charges will be imposed on an Eligible Subscriber’s use of domestic Off-Net voice calls and SMS. “Off-Net Service” means the provisioning of Prepaid Service which originates from Our network and is terminated to any other service provider’s network in Malaysia.
“On-Net Service” means the provisioning of Prepaid Service which originates from Our network and is terminated to Our network. - Limitation of Liability
YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Programme. - Laws
This Programme shall in all respect be governed by the laws of Malaysia. - Modifications
YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of this Programme, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Programme at any time before or during the Programme Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
