- The Campaign
The Learn From Home Free SIM Extension Campaign (“LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign”) is a time-limited campaign by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (“YTLC”). - Eligibility
This Learn From Home Free SIM Extension Campaign is open to all existing subscribers of the following programmes:-
2.1 YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Learn From Home Programme;
2.2 YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Independent Chinese Secondary Schools Learn From Home Programme; and
2.3 YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Institutions of Higher Learning Learn From Home Programme.
(Clauses 2.1 – 2.3 shall hereinafter be referred to collectively as “Existing Service Plans”).
For clarity and avoidance of doubt, subscribers of the Existing Service Plans, including those subscribers whose Account Validity Period has expired but it is within the Grace Period, shall be referred to as “Eligible Subscribers”. - Campaign Terms Acceptance
Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Campaign T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions and Yes 4G LTE Prepaid Plan Terms and Conditions available at www.yes.my/tnc shall remain valid and applicable to this LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Campaign T&Cs, these Campaign T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions. - Campaign Period
This LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign will commence on 16th September 2021 and continue until 30th September 2022 (“Campaign Period”). - Entitlement under the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign
5.1 An Eligible Participant participating in this LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign is entitled to free 7GB LTE Data (“Free Data’) for a service validity period of thirty (30) days each cycle during the Campaign Period (“Service Validity Period”).5.2 For the 1st month of an Eligible Subscriber’s participation in the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign, the Free Data will be automatically credited into his/her Prepaid account:-
(a) in the case of an Eligible Subscriber selecting the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign during his/her Account Validity Period, upon expiry of the Internet data of 40GB enjoyed by the Eligible Subscriber under his/her Existing Service Plan; or
(b) in the case of an Eligible Subscriber selecting the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign after expiry of the Account Validity Period under the Existing Service Plan but within the Grace Period, a day succeeding the day after he/she opts for the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign;
(c) in the case mentioned in Clauses 6.1(c) below, after activation of the SIM Card in accordance with these Campaign T&Cs.5.3 Thereafter, for each succeeding months of the Campaign Period, Free Data will be allocated to the Eligible Subscribers after expiry of the respective Service Validity Period.
5.4 The allocation of Free Data to the Eligible Subscribers during the last month of the Campaign Period will depend on the end date of the preceding month’s Service Validity Period, which shall not be later than 29th September 2022. This means if the Service Validity Period of a preceding month ends at any time on or before 29th September 2022, such Eligible Subscribers will continue to enjoy Free Data for the succeeding month of the Service Validity Period. However, if the Service Validity Period in the preceding month ends on or after 30th September 2022, such Eligible Subscriber will not continue to enjoy any further Free Data. For clarity and avoidance of doubt, please refer to the following examples:-
Example 1.
In the event an Eligible Subscriber’s Service Validity Period ends on 29 September 2022, he/she will enjoy Free Data for a period of thirty (30) days from 30 September 2022 until 29th October 2022 subject always that the Eligible Subscriber’s Prepaid account is active i.e the Account Validity Period has not expired.
Example 2.
In the event an Eligible Subscriber’s Service Validity Period ends on 30 September 2022, he/she will not be entitled to enjoy any further Free Data.5.5 Please take note that any remaining Internet data under the Free Data shall be automatically forfeited at the end of each Service Validity Period and shall not be carried forward to the succeeding Service Validity Period/(s).
- Campaign Mechanism
6.1 An Eligible Subscriber intending to participate in the Learn From Home Free SIM Extension Campaign shall comply with the follow conditions:-
(a) The Eligible Subscriber must be a subscriber under the Existing Service Plan.
(b) Complete the online form on the LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign available at:-
- https://rma.yes.my/Govt for Eligible Subscribers of the YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Learn From Home Programme;
- https://rma.yes.my/ICSS for Eligible Subscribers of the YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Independent Chinese Secondary Schools Learn From Home Programme; or Programme.
- https://rma.yes.my/Uni for Eligible Subscribers of the YES Online Prepaid SIM Card for Institutions of Higher Learning Learn From Home Programme
on or by 16th December 2021, 11:59 pm by providing the relevant information in the related fields and click on the tab “Submit”. Clauses 6.1 (b)(i) –(iii) shall be referred to collectively as “Online Forms”.
(c) In the event an Eligible Subscriber intends to replace his/her SIM Card under the Existing Service Plan, such Eligible Subscriber shall execute an additional step by ticking the check box which reads as “I need a New SIM” within the Online Form before clicking on the tab “Submit”. Upon receipt of the new SIM Card, such Eligible Subscriber shall activate the new SIM Card by log-in to MyYes app, go to Quick Access, press “Activate SIM” button and follow the self-activation steps on the screen. Upon receipt of the new SIM Card, such Eligible Subscriber shall activate the SIM Card within a period of six (6) months from the date of issuance of SIM Card by YTLC failing which the SIM Card can no longer be activated and no replacement SIM Card will be provided. - Limitation of Liability.
YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign. - Laws.
This LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign shall in all respect be governed by the laws of Malaysia. - Modifications.
YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of this LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this LFH Free SIM Extension Campaign at any time before or during the Campaign Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
