- The Programme. The Jaringan Prihatin Programme (“Programme”) is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia in the form of subsidised telco packages in collaboration with YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (Company No.200701035605(793634-V)) (“YTLC”) and other telecommunications operators. Under this Programme, an Eligible Subscriber who subscribes to an Applicable Service Plan may enjoy the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy, subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter appearing.
- Eligibility.
All Malaysian citizens who are confirmed by LHDN as applicants of the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat is eligible to participate in this Programme, subject to the Programme Mechanism in Clause 6 herein. - Applicable Terms & Conditions:
3.1 Subject only to the variations as expressly set out in this Jaringan Prihatin Programme Terms and Conditions (“Programme T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Postpaid Service Terms and Conditions, Postpaid Service Plan Terms and Conditions, YES Jaringan Prihatin Service Plan Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions, Yes 4G LTE Prepaid Plan Terms and Conditions and Yes 4G Broadband Bundle Plan available at www.yes.my/tnc shall remain valid and applicable to this Programme (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Programme T&Cs, these Programme T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency.3.2 Words in capital not defined in this Programme T&Cs shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions:
“ Applicable Service Plans” means YTLC’s service plans as approved by Government of Malaysia from time to time and are made available to the Eligible Subscriber for their subscription during the Enrolment Period. Please refer to yes.my/kasiupb40 for further details on the type of Applicable Service Plans.
“ Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat” is an initiative introduced by Government of Malaysia during the Covid 19 pandemic and focused on the group classified as B40.
“ Eligible Subscribers” means an Individual or Household who subscribes to an Applicable Service Plan.
“ Enrolment Period” shall have the same meaning ascribed to in Clause 6.1.
“ Household” refers to an applicant, married and with children, who has been confirmed by LHDN as a primary applicant of the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat.
“ Individual” refers to an applicant, single or married but without children, who has been confirmed by LHDN as a primary applicant of the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat.
“ Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber” refers to an Eligible Subscriber who has successfully subscribed to any of the Applicable Service Plans.
“ Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy” shall have the same meaning ascribed to in Clause 5.1 herein.
“ LHDN” refers to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri.
“ Monthly Subsidy” shall have the same meaning ascribed to in Clause 5.1.1(b) herein.
“ Programme Period” means the period commencing on 05 May 2021 until 30 September 2022, unless otherwise extended by the Government of Malaysia.
“ Subsidy Period” means the period during which a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber is entitled to the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy, which in any event shall not be longer than twelve (12) consecutive calendar months from the date of enrolment to the Applicable Service Plan, subject to Clause 5.2 herein.
“ YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On” refers collectively to the YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 For 15GB and YES Prihatin Prepaid RM 15 Unlimited.
“ You” and “Your” refers to an Eligible Subscriber or Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber, whichever that is applicable. - Enrolment Period
4.1 An Eligible Subscriber shall enrol to an Applicable Service Plan at any time between the periods of 05 May 2021 through 30 September 2021 (“Enrolment Period”) to be entitled to the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy. - Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy
5.1 The Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy is applicable where:5.1.1 An Eligible Subscriber categorised as an Individual opts for a:
(a) one-off subsidy of Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred Eighty (RM 180.00) only by subscribing to the YES Prihatin Learn From Home for Individuals Service Plan wherein the said one-off subsidy shall be redeemed by 30th September 2021. Please refer to the YES Jaringan Prihatin Service Plan Programme Terms and Conditions https://www.yes.my/tnc/products-services-tnc for specific details on the YES Prihatin Learn From Home for Individuals Service Plan; or
(b) monthly subsidy of Ringgit Malaysia Fifteen (RM 15.00) only per month for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months (“Monthly Subsidy”) upon subscription of any of the Applicable Service Plans other than the YES Prihatin Learn From Home For Individuals Service Plan and YES Prihatin Learn From Home For Families Service Plan, or
5.1.2 An Eligible Subscriber categorised as Household opts for a:
(a) one-off subsidy of Ringgit Malaysia Three Hundred (RM 300.00) only by subscribing to the YES Prihatin Learn From Home For Families Service Plan, wherein the said one-off subsidy shall be redeemed by 30th September 2021. Please refer to the YES Jaringan Prihatin Service Plan Programme Terms and Conditions @ https://www.yes.my/tnc/products-services-tnc for specific details on the YES Prihatin Learn From Home for Families Service Plan; or
(b) Monthly Subsidy upon subscription of any of the Applicable Service Plans other than the YES Prihatin Learn From Home For Families Service Plan and YES Prihatin Learn From Home For Individuals Service Plan.
subject to Clause 5.2 herein.
(Clauses 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 shall hereinafter be collectively referred to as the “Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy”)
5.2 The Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber’s entitlement to the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy is subject to the following pre-conditions:
5.2.1 the continuance of the Programme during the Programme Period; or
5.2.2 if the total subsidy amount allocated by the Government of Malaysia under the Jaringan Prihatin Programme is fully exhausted at any time prior to the completion of the Programme Period, then, the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy to the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber shall be discontinued accordingly. - Programme Mechanism.
6.1 An Eligible Subscriber shall enrol to an Applicable Service Plan at any time between the periods of 05 May 2021 through 30 September 2021 (“Enrolment Period”) to be entitled to the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy.6.2 An Eligible Subscriber may subscribe to the Applicable Service Plan through the following platforms by adopting the method described herein below:
6.2.1: Subscription of Applicable Service Plan through MyYes app
(a) An Eligible Subscriber, who is an existing Subscriber of YES Services, may subscribe to the Applicable Service Plan through MyYes app. Once the Eligible Subscriber has successfully submitted the required information based on the above steps, he/she:
(b) will receive notification confirming subscription of the Applicable Service Plan.
(c) The Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may track the application status or progress of delivery of SIM Card and device through https://lcs.yes.my/ only.
(d) Upon receipt of the SIM Card, he/she may activate the SIM Card by performing self-registration via eKYC available on MyYes app.6.2.2: Subscription of Applicable Service Plan through YES Web
(a) An Eligible Subscriber, who is not an existing subscriber of YES Services, may subscribe to the Applicable Service Plan through YES Web @ yes.my/kasiupb40. Once the Eligible Subscriber has successfully submitted the required information based on the above steps, he/she:
(b) will receive notification confirming of the Applicable Service Plan.
(c) The Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may track the application status or progress of delivery of SIM Card and device through https://lcs.yes.my/ only.
(d)Upon receipt of the SIM Card, he/she may activate the SIM Card by performing self-registration via eKYC available on MyYes app.6.2.3: YES Store or YES Dealer
Drop by to the nearest YES Store or YES Dealer and the person in charge will assist you accordingly.6.3 An Individual or Household may subscribe to multiple Applicable Service Plans, subject to the applicable laws. However, each Individual or Household is entitled to claim for the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy from any one (1) of the Applicable Service Plan subscribed. For clarity, an Individual or Household is entitled to one (1) Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy only during the Programme Period.
6.4 The Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy will be deducted against the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber’s:
(a) Bill, if the Applicable Service Plan is in the form of a Postpaid Service; or
(b) payment towards the Prepaid Data Add-On, if the Applicable Service Plan is in the form of a Prepaid Service.6.5 The Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy is not transferrable towards payment of Bill or Prepaid Service Account of any third party.
6.6 After the Subsidy Period, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may continue with the Applicable Service Plan subject to:
(a) payment of the related Commitment Fee, in the event the Applicable Service Plan subscribed is in the form of a Postpaid Service; or
(b) payment for purchase of Prepaid Data Add-On, in the event the Applicable Service Plan subscribed is in the form of a Prepaid Service, whichever that is applicable.6.7 During the Programme Period, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber having subscribed to the YES Prihatin Prepaid Service Plan, YES Prihatin Learn from Home for Individuals Service Plan and YES Prihatin Learn from Home for Families Service Plan is not allowed to convert such service plans to any other Applicable Service Plans.
- YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On Service Plan
7.1 An Eligible Subscriber shall subscribe to the YES Prihatin Prepaid Service Plan to redeem the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On.
7.2 Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber shall activate the Yes Prihatin Prepaid Service Plan SIM Card before he/she proceeds to redeem any one of the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On listed in Table 1 and be entitled to the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy. The YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On may be redeemed via MyYes app & YES Express Payment Channel.YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-on types YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 for 15GB YES Prihatin Prepaid RM15 Unlimited Price RM0 RM15 Data 15GB

** The YES Prepaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data is valid for one (1) day only. Therefore, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber is required to redeem the YES Prepaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data each day via MyYes app or YES Express Payment Channel subject always that the (1) Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber shall have redeemed the YES Prihatin Prepaid RM15 Unlimited Data Add-On prior to the redemption of the YES Prepaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data and (2) his/her Service Account is within the Account Validity Period .7.3 Once a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber purchases the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On, his/her Account Validity Period will be extended accordingly depending on type of Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On purchased.
7.4 The redemption of the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On shall be as follows:
7.4.1 If a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber, who is not an existing Subscriber of YES Services, decides to:
(a) opt for the Monthly Subsidy; and
(b) subscribe to the YES Prihatin Prepaid Plan,
he/she will receive internet data allocation under the YES Prihatin Prepaid Plan upon successful activation of the SIM Card. Thereafter, such Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber is required to redeem the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On, via MyYes app, MyAccount or YES Express Payment Channel, within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of SIM Card activation to enjoy the Monthly Subsidy. For e.g. if an Eligible Subscriber subscribes to the YES Prihatin Prepaid Plan on 01 Apr 2021 and he/she activates the SIM on 05 April2021, the Prepaid Data Add-On will be allocated on activation date and the succeeding allocation of the Prepaid Data Add-On will be on 05 May 2021.
7.4.2 If a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber is an existing Subscriber of YES Services, he/she will be allocated with the internet data on the successful enrolment date to any of the Applicable Service Plans in the form of Prepaid Service. Upon enrolment, such Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber shall redeem through MyYes app or YES Express Payment Channel any one of the available YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of enrolment to the Applicable Service Plans in the form of Prepaid Service to enjoy the Monthly Subsidy. For e.g. if an Eligible Subscriber enrols to the Applicable Service Plans in the form of Prepaid Service on 01 Apr 2021, the Prepaid Data Add-On will be allocated on 01 April 2021 and the succeeding allocation of the Prepaid Data Add-On will be on 01 May 2021.7.5 If the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber of the Applicable Service Plan in the form of Prepaid Service fails to redeem the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of activation thereof, YTLC’s system will automatically purchase the YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 for 15GB Data Add-On for each of the succeeding months. For e.g. Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber subscribes to the YES Prihatin Prepaid Service Plan on 01 Apr 2021 and he/she activates the SIM Card on 05 April 2021 in such instance, the YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 for 15GB Data Add-On will be allocated to the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber on 05 April 2021. If the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber fails to redeem the YES Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On on or by 04 May 2021, then on 05 May 2021 the system will automatically purchase the YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 for 15GB Data Add-On on behalf of such Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber. The same mechanism described hereinbefore shall apply to the remaining succeeding Subsidy Period.
7.6 A Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber will not be able to purchase any other Prepaid Data Add-Ons made available by YTLC to all its Subscribers until such time when he/she has redeemed the Prihatin Prepaid Data Add-On. A Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may purchase such available Prepaid Data Add-Ons via MyYes app & YES Express Payment Channel.
7.7 If the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber had purchased different types of Prepaid Data Add-Ons, the order of priority on the deduction of internet data within all such Prepaid Data Add-Ons shall be as follows:-
(a) YES Prihatin Prepaid RM0 for 15GB Data Add-On;
(b) Unthrottle Me Data Add-On or Hotspot Data Add-On (applicable for unlimited data allocated subscribers);
(c) Unlimited Prepaid Data Add-On;
(d) Tonnage Prepaid Data Add-On; and
(e) The Prepaid Internet Data within the Prepaid Service Plan, or more commonly known as the base plan7.8 Postpaid Service Plan (exclude Kasi Up 49 Plan with contract and Fixed Wireless Internet Service Plan)
7.8.1 In the event an Eligible Subscriber had opted for:
(a) an Applicable Service Plan, in the form of Postpaid Service ;and
(b) the Monthly Subsidy, then, upon subscription of such Applicable Service Plan, the Monthly Subsidy will be deducted against the Bill succeeding immediately after the month of successful enrolment to the related Applicable Service Plan. Subject to Clause 5.2, the Monthly Subsidy will be automatically credited into the Service Account and deducted against the Bill related to the Applicable Service Plan for twelve (12) succeeding Billing Cycle.The YES Postpaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data is valid for one (1) day only. Therefore, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber is required to redeem the YES Postpaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data Add-On manually each day via MyYes app or YES Express Payment Channel. The Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may redeem the YES Postpaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data Add-On at any time after the date of successful enrolment to the Applicable Service Plan in the form of Postpaid Service.
7.8.2 If a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber had purchased different types of Postpaid Data Add-Ons, the order of priority on the deduction of internet data amongst all such Postpaid Data Add-Ons shall be as follows:-
(a) Data add-on in the YES Postpaid Free 2GB Daily LTE Data Add-On;
(b) Tonnage Postpaid Data Add-Ons; and
(c) The internet data in the Postpaid Service Plan subscribed, or more commonly known as the base plan.7.9 If You are an existing subscriber of YTLC and You have purchased any auto renewal of the Data Add-On, as a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber, You may unsubscribe the auto renewal add-on failing which, we will continue to deduct from your Yes Credit for any such auto renewal of Prepaid Data Add-On.
7.10 A Prihatin subsidy recipient registered with another operator, who have opted for monthly subsidy of RM 15.00 per month, is allowed to enrol with YTLC once the Prihatin subsidy recipient has cancel his/her enrolment of the monthly subsidy of RM 15.00 with such operator. Once the Prihatin subsidy recipient successfully enrols with YTLC, he/she will be able to enjoy the Monthly Subsidy for the remaining Subsidy Period.
- Unenrolment of the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy
8.1 During the Programme Period, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber who had opted to the Monthly Subsidy may cancel the enrolment from the Jaringan Prihatin Programme with YTLC subject always that he/she remains with YTLC for a period of no less than thirty (30) days from the date of subscription of the Applicable Service Plans.8.2 The Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber intending to cancel the enrolment with YTLC is required to walk into YES Store to complete the required process.
- YES Prihatin x Shopee Cashback Rewards
9.1 Subject to Clause 9.2, a Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber may receive up to ten (10) YES Prihatin x Shopee Cashback Rewards worth up to RM 50 (RM 5 each). These YES Prihatin x Shopee Cashback Rewards are valid with any of the 10 participating merchants when the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber makes a purchase using his/her ShopeePay e-wallet. For full terms and conditions, please visit https://shopee.com.my/m/yes-jaringan-prihatin-shopeepay-rewards#TNC.9.2 A Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber shall apply for a ShopeePay e-wallet with the Mobile Number assigned to the Jaringan Prihatin Subscriber for the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy.
- Limitation of Liability. YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Programme.
- Laws. The Programme shall in all respects be governed by the laws of Malaysia
- Modifications. YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of the Programme, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Programme at any time before or during the Programme Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
